In France, Hallowe’en is not quite the event that it is in North America.  Very low key, especially in the smaller villages.  However, this year we did have about 11 kids come to the door, which in a town with a population of 1,500 is probably not that bad.

Andrew dressed up as a horse back rider and Arabella dressed up as a princess.  Lots of people smiled as we walked by and some candies found their way into the bags as well.  We also managed to find some pumpkins, small ones, for the kids to carve.  Next year we will likely have more trick-or-treaters as word spreads quickly around here and the decorations made our house stand out!
